Excellent halal Peruvian style chicken and real sides. My family has ordered many times, and they consistently deliver great food. Also the brussel sprouts and sweet potato fries are great. Highly recommend this place!

My wife and I finally tried this place out since it’s opening. We ordered online, which they open at 11 and could only place an order for 11:15. We had to wait a bit longer being they just opened and the online system shouldn’t allow it to be that close. Understandable reasons, and no complaints about that, noted for next time. The staff were very friendly and we got our food not too long after. We got spicy sauce along with mild to go. We got the quarter dark chicken with roasted potatoes and Mac, and also a chicken quesadilla. The quesadilla was good and the Mac n cheese was better than most places around. The roasted potatoes were okay, and I would either add a condiment or try something else next time. They appear to be seasoned and deep fried. The chicken was really good. The flavor made me think of awesome backyard barbecue and family cookouts. Would definitely recommend and get again. I tried the spicy sauce a little, as I’m not too into green sauces. It was good but not my type of thing. The little amount I had, had a little kick. The portions were good, not too little and not too much. In the pic, the Mac leaked to the other side but that was from the drive home, not on their side. I will be back for more!

At at this place one to two times a week for a month when I had work in Urbana. Food is fresh and amazing - and all reasonably priced. Seems most people do carry out but there are a few tables in the restaurant. I tasted just about everything in the restaurant and it is ALL good. Owner is fantastic too - he thankfully talked me into choosing the hot sauce :)

First off Urbana is such a cute and clean town. We stopped at lime chicken pollo and were immediately greeted by Navi at the register. Navi was so patient and explained to us what the Peru specialties were. We then sat down at one of three tables (limited seating as this is primarily a take out place). Food was prepared fresh and came out steaming. Everything was PHENOMENAL. The customer service was also 10/10. Navi would check on us if everything was okay and if we needed anything. He was also curious in which sauces we liked best. Which was funny as we each had a favorite one! Lime chicken pollo offers 3 complimentary sauces ranging in spice that definitely taste homemade and excellently pair with all the food we tried. Everyone went crazy over the roasted potatoes which were crisp to perfection and so spicey in the best way. The l brussel sprouts were delicious, crisp and had a good salt kick. The chicken was drool worthy as it was tender and the veggies and sauce were excellent. Everything tasted fresh even the fried rice! The yucca fries were also a hit especially in the mild sauce! We will be back again and need to order the family meal to bring home for the rest of our family to try! Navi you are the G.O.A.T! Thank you for making our dining experience a full 5 stars!

Update: 3/19/24 We’re back again and everything was delicious as usual! We tried the brussel sprouts this time and OMG shut the front door they were absolutely scrumptious! We’ve tried many Peruvian restaurants and I can not lie, Lime Chicken has overall the best food! Absolutely delicious chicken, roasted potatoes, and green beans! The fact that everything is roasted and not fried is key for me and pre-diabetes! All the staff that we've had the pleasure of interacting with are so pleasant and friendly. The owner was so excited to inform me that they were expanding their menu. He wanted to start off with a simple menu to make sure they offered the best food possible and maintain a smooth operation before expanding which is so smart with today's competition! Sorry I don't have photos of our past orders, we ate them so fast the pics wouldn't have turned out as beautiful as they were fresh lol

First of all the customer service over here is superb. The manager was willing to explain everything on the menu with precise detail. Very great energy here. You feel very welcome. Management gave me some recommendations to try and I did not regret it. The food is full of flavor and it's freshly made. Management always came around to check on us and how you were enjoying the experience. This is the best Parisian place I have ever been to. I will highly recommend visiting. 10/5. PS: The grilled chicken is seriously good. This is my place for Chicken now.

The homemade sauce was supremely delicious. It went really well with the lima chicken that’s roasted until it’s blackened, and rubbed in some custom yummy spice. The plantains is definitely a kicker and you keep wanting to eat it. A whole meal with half a chicken and 2 sides are only $15. So delicious

This was our second visit to Lime Chicken in Urbana. Both times it has not disappointed! The food was excellent! The chicken was super juicy and flavorful and the sides were amazing. We had the roasted potatoes, Brussels sprouts and green beans. Everything was fresh and seasoned perfectly. The owner gave us a couple of samples of their other side while we waited for our food. He was very pleasant and accommodating! We will definitely be back!! Highly recommend!!
